A spring-loaded arbor clears the plug so you can move to the next hole.
The PushPilot has an internal chamber that self-loads a steel plunger from the pressure of drilling. This chamber is spring-loaded.
As the pressure builds, the steel plunger is pushed into the chamber that has a steel spring inside of it. This is self loading the tool.
Once the drilling is complete, the pressure is released and the spring unloads. This ejects the plunger and whatever is sitting on top of it.
